Kara writes training programs for all distances of Triathlon from Sprint through to Ironman and for all athletic abilities. Every training session will be specifically designed to help you towards achieving your race goal that you plan with Kara at the start of your program.
Training sessions will have 3 main aims:
- Develop and maintain a strong aerobic base throughout the preparation.
- Develop muscular strength and endurance to increase your ability to hold higher race intensities for sustained periods of time.
- Develop speed with efforts above race pace using fartlek and interval training
12 week programs

12 Week Programs:
My 12-week training programs are divided into three four-week phases. Workouts occur six days per week for triathlon programs, with different training sessions each day.
My individual running programs include 5 and 10km, half marathon and full marathon run training plans.
These plans are broken down into 4 Training Phases: Foundation, Base, Build, and ‘Peak & Taper’. This structured programming will improve performance, allow adequate recovery, reduce risk of injury and enables each training element to be incorporated into a progressive training plan, allowing for peak performance at the end of the 12 weeks.

- 8, 12 or 16 week Plans
- Choose from Sprint, Olympic, 70.3 or Ironman Distance
- Choose from 5 and 10km, half or full marathon training plans
Monthly coaching Program – Starter:
From $200 P/M
Ideal for athletes who can be more self directed with their training and do not require as frequent contact with their coach, those who are returning from injury or who are not training towards a specific race or event. No matter your goals, my starter package will provide you with individualised coaching, ongoing support and guidance you need to achieve the results you desire.
- Fully personalised online Triathlon training program
- Program built around your schedule, delivered MONTHLY via Training Peaks
- Annual Training Plan based on your training and racing goals
- Swim, bike and run performance testing and tracking to develop training intensities and monitor progress (athletes must have a garmin/GPS watch or similar)
- Personal heart rate, power zones and/or paces calculated and utilised to track progression and deliver personalised programming
- Contact with Kara via Email
- Monthly phone call/skype to review program and training progress
- Pre race planning including pace planning, mental preparation and race nutrition
- Post race debrief and analysis
- Option to add on Personalised Strength & Conditioning program to your Triathlon Package*
Monthly Coaching Program – Performance:

This Program is for athletes who are performance driven and want to maximise their results. Whether this is a personal best or a podium finish, my performance program will provide you with the highest level of coaching, support and individualised training to ensure you achieve your goals.
Includes everything in our Starter Package, plus:
- Program delivered WEEKLY through Training Peaks
- Weekly workout data analysis and feedback
- Training plan adjustments 1 per week
- Unlimited contact with Kara via email
- Fortnightly skype/phone call to discuss training and racing progress
- Option to add on Personalised Strength & Conditioning program to your Triathlon Package
